Why?

A question that I'm often asked is why I research this stuff. One of my answers is always my curiosity. Do I know if this stuff is real? No. But that leads me ask the question: Do I know this stuff isn't real?

I believe that this stuff has to come from somewhere. I believe humans have the ability to create some fantastic creatures, but it isn't possible for us to create all of these myths. I believe that some of it stemmed from real things. They might have been drastic misunderstandings, but there is no way to tell.

Another reason is that I want to be an author. I love researching things like this, and then using it in the stories that I write.

I am a normal person, I swear. I'm a traditional sceptic, but that doesn't mean I can't be convinced. I hope this blog helps others research what they need to know, and that it will be really useful.
