Bigfoot

Probably the most recognizable name in the world, Bigfoot is one of the worlds most renowned monster. An urban legend comparable to that of Nessie, Bigfoot hold a death grip as one of the most sighted creatures on earth, despite the fact that science says that it doesn't exist.

Much speculation about Bigfoot is what it is. No legend seems to say the same things. Some common things exist between all of the legends however: they are hairy, between 7 and 10 foot, and they walk upright.

Sightings of this creature date back as far as the famed Daniel Boone, where he recorded that he shot and killed a 10 foot creature he named Yahoo, but perhaps the most famous come from more recent times. One of the most famous is the Patterson-Gimlin film, which is revered as the holy grail of Bigfoot sightings.

Another famous Bigfoot story is that of Jerry Crew. Famed for being the first person to make a cast mold of Bigfoot's foot, he was later discredited when the children of Ray Wallace, brother to the man who was over Jerry Crew, came forward with a giant foot claiming that this was what their father used to make the famous tracks.

And so, scepticism arises around the name of Bigfoot or Sasquatch, but that hasn't stopped some of the most famous scientist in the world, such as Jane Goodall, from expressing their believe in the creature.

There is no way to prove, despite it's famous fans, that the legend of Bigfoot is true or not. Science says that there is no possible way for it to exist and that it's just an unidentified creature and that fear, along with preconceived notions, has led to Bigfoot. Still, people are looking for the famed beast, and only time will tell whether this creature is Supernatural, Paranormal, Mythological, or simply Hollywood hype.

Below is a video of the famed Patterson Bigfoot Film. This has caused much speculation on the existence of Bigfoot.
